New book: Graphic novel The battle of Arnhem'

On the Battle of Arnhem, two movies and countless books have been published. They tell the story of those tragic September days in 1944. Enough food for thought you'd think. On the list of storytelling, however, there's one way missing of illuminating history: THE GRAPHIC NOVEL.

A graphic novel is a literary cartoon. Studio Vaessen is imaging the events in September 1944 in an accessible way so they are preserved for future generations.

The story will be published in three separate volumes:

Part 1, The Battle for the bridge in Arnhem, harcover, 48 pages.
The release is planned for September 2011.

Part 2, The fighting in Oosterbeek (2012),

Part 3, The struggle of the Poles at Driel and the aftermath of the events (2013).
