Lecture on German dead and wounded

 

What is it about?

          German soldiers who were wounded and/or died during or after the Battle of Arnhem.

Who will do it?

          Hans Timmerman will tell the tale and show the pictures (in Dutch).

When and where is it?

          In the Concertzaal (Concert Hall - the cream building opposite the Old Church) at Oosterbeek, on Saturday 21st November, starting at around 14.00 Hrs.

 

The lecture is about the results of Hans' extensive research into the German medical services during the battle and afterwards, including the registration and the burial of the dead. Also he will tell of some individual soldiers and what happened to them.
